Interesting Finds this week for # 9 Thursday Tips Tricks and Thoughts!

How and When do you do blog backups?

It has been discovered that about 60% of bloggers think that their web host was managing backups of their website, but the reality is your web host will do very little to ensure that your website is protected.

Make sure you have automated backups of your website in place. Some options to use for backups: i.e. UPDRAFT, Dropbox, or Google Drive.

I personally use UpdraftPlus – Backup/Restore (Free) and have set it to do auto-updates fortnightly which is more than sufficient. Should you need to do plugin updates and you’re unsure you can also do a manual update to reinstate should something go wrong. I have done that as well many a time.

Highlighting a fellow blogger!

Pam from An Artful Mom

The post that caught my eye on her blog would be ART AND CRAFT ROOM PROGRESS: SUPPLIES ORGANIZATION. This is an artist’s paradise and dream come true. Even it you’re not an artist, I am sure you will love this post, so do yourself a HUGE favor and check it out.

I have only recently met Pam, but what a delightful and awesome blogger. Pam also contributes to our SeniorSalon Inlinkz and she’s also a co-host (they are six in the team) for another Inlinkz party called Thursday Favorite Things and should you look for another outlet, do not hesitate to pop in and share your posts with that group as well.

You can connect and follow Pam via her Blog, and on Pinterest, BlogvinTwitter, or Instagram.
