Fried Battered Calamari Rings (fried squid) are a dish in Mediterranean cuisine. Super easy to prepare and your family will love it.
These calamari/squid rings are dredged in seasoned flour and fried until crisp and golden.
- 750g calamari
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup corn flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons mixed dried herbs
- 2 eggs
- Sift together all dry ingredients.
- Beat the eggs together
- Dip calamari in beater eggs then in flour mixture and fry in hot oil for approximately 5 minutes
