Braised Turkey with Yoghurt, a perfect meal for the entire family to enjoy

Ingredients

  • 1 large sliced onion
  • 2 grated tomatoes
  • 1 tsp Tumeric
  • 1 tsp dhania n geera
  • 1 tsp Kashmiri
  • 2 tsp Bombay
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • Curry leaves
  • Ginger n garlic
  • Oil
  • Bay leaf
  • Cinnamon
  • ½ cup plain double cream yogurt
  • Salt
  • Water

Method

Braise onion in hot oil with spices, adding turmeric, dhania geera, Kashmiri, chili one at a time.

Saute, then add ginger and garlic and fry a little, then add curry leaf with tomatoes and stir.

Add turkey pieces and cook a little, add some water optional..once the water dries up and turkey is done

Add yogurt and salt and mix and drop the heat and leave to simmer.

Garnish with dhania.

Nice with roti or just plain rice.
