My husbands favorite roast – only on Shabbat (Friday nights) as he had a quad bypass nearly 3 years ago, not a huge fancy meal but yummy.
Grilled Cajun Calamari
800 g frozen calamari rings, defrosted.
Wash and place in a bowl and cover with milk and 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda.
Mix and leave to stand for 30 minutes.
1 packet (2½ cups) quinoa
4 cups water
Prepare as per package directions.
3 x Chicken fillets washed and dried, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
2 tbsp olive oil + extra if needed

1.5kg Pork Belly
BBQ Sauce, this one had a bit of a bite. Just enough for me, as I am not one for overly spicy food.
Remove the skin from the meat.
Place on BBQ – slow roast for ± 1½ hours, till done to your liking. (more…)
