Description

Who knew the perfect Italian recipe could become your go-to for both breakfast and dinner? This frittata is all you need.

Units Scale

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease an 8×8-inch Pyrex dish or use a smaller one if you’re craving thicker slices.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, melted butter, salt, black pepper, cayenne, and Italian seasoning. Make sure it’s all nice and smooth.
  3. Spread the bacon bits evenly across your greased dish. Scatter the diced chicken over the bacon. Pour the egg mixture on top, giving everything a light stir to let the flavors mingle.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese generously over the top. Finish with a dash of dried chives for that extra pop of flavor.
  5. Pop the dish in your preheated oven. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean and the top is golden and bubbly.

Notes

  1. This frittata is just as good cold as it is hot, making it perfect for meal prep or leftovers!
  2. Want a creamier texture? Swap out the milk for heavy cream.
  3. Looking for some veggies? Toss in some sautéed onions, mushrooms, or spinach.
