Colleen’s Braised blade beef & potatoes

TRH Colleen's Braised blade beef & potatoes

Blade beef cut up into chunks
2 onions sliced
Peppercorns about 6
Bay leaves about 3
2 stick cinnamon
Salt & fresh ground black pepper
3 potatoes cut into halves

Method
Put onions &meat into a pot, add the bay leaves, peppercorns, stick cinnamon
Add about 2 cups water & allow to cook away
Allow pot & meat to braise & burn/stick to bottom of pot
Add bits of water and you will see its a brownish color in pot
Cook until when pierced with a fork its nice & tender and almost soft to the bone
Add your potatoes, salt & fresh ground black pepper and then add some olive oil and braise in the sauce
Adding bits of water…keep adding water as you braise until potatoes are soft, yet tender and there is a nice thick sauce in pot
Taste to your liking…yummy enjoy
