A great family-pleasing meal made out of Crushed Chili Cabbage and Garlic Roti

Ingredients
- 1 finely chopped onion
- 1 tsp crushed chilies
- 2 tsp tomato puree
- 1 grated tomato
- 1 sprig of curry leaf
- Oil
- Salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic
- Chopped cabbage
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- Water optional
Method
- Braise onion in hot oil, add crushed chilies, curry leaves, add tomato and paste and garlic and mix, add cabbage and salt and sugar and cook.
- Once the cabbage is soft it is ready.
Garlic roti
Boil 2 cups water in a pot and add 2 tbs butter, 2 tbs oil, and 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp garlic.
When water is at boiling point add 2 cups flour, mix with a wooden spoon till it forms a ball, remove and knead well whilst still hot, roll out and toast on a flat pan.
Brush with a little melted margarine as soon as brown spots appear turn.
