1 finely chopped onion
1 tsp crushed chillies
2 tsp tomato puree
1 grated tomato
1 sprig curry leaf
Oil
Salt
1/2 tsp garlic
Chopped cabbage
1/2 tsp sugar
Water optional
Braise onion in hot oil, add crushed chillies, curry leaves, add tomato and paste and garlic and mix, add cabbage and salt and sugar and cook.
Once cabbage is soft its ready.
Garlic roti
Boil 2 cups water in a pot and add 2 tbs butter, 2 tbs oil and 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp garlic.
When water is at boiling point add 2 cups flour, mix with a wooden spoon till it forms a ball, remove and knead well whilst still hot, roll out and toast on a flat pan.
Brush with a little melted margarine as soon as brown spots appear turn.
