Barfi, Custard barfee, borfi or burfi is a dense milk-based sweet from the Indian subcontinent and a type of mithai. The name is a derivative of the Hindustani word barf, which means snow. A few of the famous varieties of barfi include besan barfi, kaaju barfi, pista barfi, and sing barfi.
Ingredients
1-litre milk
155g nestle dessert cream
1 tin condensed milk
3 heaped tablespoons of Klim milk
1 heaped tablespoon custard powder
1 tsp falooda powder
Method
Boil milk with Klim, custard, and falooda powder, then add nestle cream, condensed milk, and stir well
Remove from stove and allow to cool in the pot for 5 minutes and set in bowls or container and decorate as desired
