Description
The combination of jam and a buttery-sweet crumb is pure bliss in every bite.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup castor sugar
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 1 1/2 cups flour sifted
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup coconut
- 1 1/2 tbsp oil
- 1 1/2 tbsp water
- 5 tbsp jam
Instructions
- Cream margarine and sugar.
- Add the baking powder with the oil and water and work through to form a dough.
- Roll dough into balls and dip each in milk and then roll in coconut.
- Place on a parchment-lined baking tray.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180C / 350F for approximately 20 minutes.
- When cool top with jam.
