- 2 cups self-raising flour
- ½ cup sugar
- 60g butter
- ½ tsp salt
- 3/4 cup maas
Method
- Preheat oven to 180C
- Sift flour and salt into a mixing bowl
- Rub in the margarine
- Stir in the sugar
- Add maas and quickly mix into a soft dough
- Turn out onto the floured surface
- Roll out thickly
- Cut with a scone cutter
- Place on a floured baking tray
- Bake for 12 min
- Viola, super soft mouth-watering scones with a nice cuppa.
