Fatima's Dutch Apple Pudding

Ingredients
125g butter
250ml sugar
250ml cake flour
10ml baking powder
Pinch salt
3 large eggs
65ml milk
410g can pie apples
45ml sugar
5ml cinnamon
Syrup
125g butter
250ml sugar
125ml milk
Method:
Cream together butter & sugar till creamy.
Sift flour,baking powder and salt and set aside.
Add 2 of the eggs and beat well after each addition.
Add 15ml flour then last egg & mix well.
Add dry ingredients & enough milk to form smooth batter.
Pour batter into greased baking dish & bake in preheated oven at 180C for ±30-35min or until skewer inserted comes out clean.
Boil together syrup ingredients & pour over pudding when done.
Serve with fresh cream or custard or you can have as is , as it taste great on its own 😋
Sundays dessert should have been Dutch Apple Pudding, but I did not have apples so used sliced peaches instead.
