500g butter 500g castor sugar 2tsp vanilla extract pinch of salt 2 large eggs 1kg flour 2tsp baking powder
Cream the butter and sugar, add the vanilla extract. Add the eggs and mix well. Add the flour, salt and baking powder to form a dough. Leave in the fridge overnight and then roll out Cut into shapes and put a cherry or angelica and bake at 180C until golden brown for 10-12 minutes in a fan oven.
