125 g butter OR Stork Bake
62.5ml (quarter cup) sugar
250 ml finely chopped Medjool (remove pits) dates OR Seedless Date without pits
1 beaten egg
1 pkt Blue Label Marie Biscuits
62.5 ml (1/4 cup) slivered almonds
Melt butter and sugar together
Add finely chopped dates and pieces of biscuits
Mix thoroughly and remove from stove
Press mixture in greased pyrex dish and cut in squares or bars when set.
Refrigerate for approximately 1-2 hours or until firm.
