
Ingredients
- 1 tin Saldanha fish in chili sauce..drain the sauce
- 1 grated onion, squeeze out the juice
- 2c ups fresh bread crumbs/5 slices bread pre-soaked
- 1 egg
- Fresh parsley
- Salt to taste
Method
- In a bowl add your fish without the sauce & remove the small bones
- Add the egg, parsley, bread crumbs/bread & grated onion
- Add salt to taste & mix well to combine
- If the mixture is still very thin add more breadcrumbs until you get a nice solid frikkadel
- Fry in shallow oil until nice & brown
- Serve with mash & stewed tomato
