Ingredients
1 7.5 ounce jar Marshmallow Fluff or similar item
1 8 ounce container of Strawberry Philadelphia Cream Cheese or similar item
1 round angel food cake
1 pint fresh strawberries, cleaned and cut into thin slices
Directions
Place strawberry cream cheese into stand mixer. Beat until smooth using paddle attachment. Add Fluff and beat until incorporated. (This can be done by hand as well.)
Use a large serrated knife and slice angel food cake in half horizontally. Put on a cake plate. Place dollops of pink frosting on top of the halved cake. Place a layer of fresh strawberries over the frosting.
Carefully place the second half of the angel food cake on top of the first layer. Use remaining frosting to cover the entire cake. Layer more fresh strawberries on top. Please any remaining strawberries around the bottom of the cake as decoration.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
You could substitute blueberry cream cheese and fresh blueberries, cherries, or raspberries.
