175g Butter at room temperature
4 cups Self Raising flour
1 1/2 cups plain yoghurt
Rub butter into flour until it resembles bread crumbs.
Add the yoghurt to make a soft dough if too sticky add a little more flour.
Rest dough for 20 minutes before rolling out.
Roll out on floured surface, press out your doughnuts and fry on medium heat until done. Drain on paper towels.
Glaze with white glaze or chocolate glaze and sprinkles or cinnamon sugar
Glaze: 1 cup icing sugar mixed with a little milk. Stir.
For chocolate glaze add 3 tbsp cocoa powder.
Cinnamon sugar : Castor sugar mixed with cinnamon
