I wish I had some of those right now. They are making me crave some cookies.
Thank you, I will share your comment with FB member Hannah
I appreciate that
Thanks soo much for the compliment. I am always looking for cookies. Soo easy to make and delicious.😘🌺
You’re a super star Hannah. Thanks for responding back to the blogger.
Yes, they made me wish I had some right then. I had a sugar craving and nothing in the house.
Mwah, just been told I not allowed sugar in any food, nor fruit, so its a tough one but adamant to stick to it
Oh no! Are you a diabetic? That is really tough. I am sure that will happen to me as I eat so much.
The funny part is, I was tested as diabetic, then again for hypoglycemic and then a third test contradicted both. Now I am going to start, once I receive the book in the mail, on a very strict diet that eliminate sugar for a 1-2 months and then we will see what happens. I started on my own since last Wednesday and so far so good. Have not had ANY sugar, or fruit to date.
I expect this will happen to me as well as I eat so much sugar. My downfall is soda. My grandmother didn’t get it until she was in her 80’s and she ate sugar every day. When they told her she could not have it anymore. I remember her crying.
Fortunately I am not a soda fan, but fruit is my downfall. Now NO NO NO fruit and as I said, so far so good. Still early days, but I am hanging in there
You are lucky not to be a soda drinker.
It would be very hard for me to do that. I bet though that you are going to feel a lot better.
I will keep you posted in a month’s time.
Please do. I thought fruit was good, does the sugar in fruit act the same way as refined sugar?
Anything in moderation is good, but I could go days and days only eating fruit, and with what the Dr’s tests and not sure where we stand, I have to cut ALL sugar. Fruit, cake, candy and any food with sugar. You will see on my blog, anything posted under Es’s… over the last few days and Recipe Credit: Dukan is part of the new diet I am testing out as per my GP.
Is there anything that doesn’t contain sugar besides vegetables, and meat. I don’t think I have looked at your age for a couple of days.
It’s difficult yes as most of the food does have sugar, but now that I have cut fruit sugar, all candy, ice cream and the most obvious its already going better. Only done it for a week, but so far so good.
It’s hard to imagine not having some sugar, I mean it’s even in bread. There even may be some sugar in some vegetables. I’m not sure though. I have to give you credit. You have a very strong will.
Trying my best. Have not had any fruit, cwndy or bread for 11/2 weeks
Wow!!! Good for you. I wish I had the determination and will.
Once I make up my mind and wrap my head around it then its a go.
I admire people that have that quality. I wish I had it.
It’s a matter of now or my health goes down the drain. I am adamant to make this work
Yes, I am sure a lot of peoples attitudes change when faced with something so serious as your health.
Is this going to affect your blog? I know you have contributors also, but you wont be able to bake any sweets unless you don’t eat them.
I will bake it for the family to enjoy. Not to worry.
A true baker and cook I am sure you are everyone’s favorite when it comes to dinner parties.
Mwah, thanks for the compliment my dear. I just love to entertain and treat others. Sharing is Caring!
Wish we were neighbors.
That would have be awesome
It would, I need to learn so much more.
I hope that the diet helps and you can be healthy and feel better. My boyfriend has diabetes and does not eat right.
One week down, and its going well, beyond expectations, thanks so much
Great. I would think the first week would be the hardest, so you have already passed that. You can keep going, you may not miss it once you get used to it.
Thanks for the encouragement.
I think you re off to a good start. Keep doing what you’re doing.
Thanks, so far so good
I think you have strong willpower, and you should do well. I am sure it’s hard, but the longer you go, the easier it should be. Now me. I would not do very well with it.
Yes you will, just wrap your head around it and you will be able to do anything you want.
That’s a very good way to think and feel.
Thanks so much
Thanks a million for the compliment. I have to admit, they are very yumolicious❤💐
