1 1/2 cups flour
4 oz butter (I only use butter)
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
Put all ingredients in your mixer and beat for 3 minutes.
Pour into a well greased loaf tin
Bake at 190C/375F for 50 minutes
For marble effect
Take out 3 tablespoons of mixture.
Add 1 tablespoon Coco powder plus 1 tablespoon milk.
Mix well and pour into rest of your mixture.
With a fork, mix very little to give effect.
