TRH Heart warming lamb stew

1.5 kilo’s lamb chops
6 large potatoes cut into chunks
4 large onions cut into chunks
6 carrots cut chunky
3 celery stalks cut chunky

In a heavy cast iron deep pan heat 3 tablespoons Olive oil.
Spice chops with BBQ spice, herbamare, garlic salt and oregano on both sides.
Brown chops and remove from pan.
Now place vegetables in pan and cook for about 10 minutes.
Return meat to pan.
Make a gravy and pour over meat and vegetables making sure all food is covered with gravy.
Cook for 30 minutes on stove top.
Heat the oven to 200 and after 30 minutes place cast iron pan with lid in the oven to cook an hour and a half to 2 hours depending on your oven.
Remove from oven and serve with mashed potatoes (or rice or noodles for non Jewish people )
