Homemade Chilli Bites (Daltjies) are crispy on the outside and soft and sponge-like on the inside.
1 packet Packo chili bite
Half cup cake flour
Half cup chana flour
1 red onion chopped.
1 teaspoon ginger & garlic masala
1 teaspoon mild Kashmiri chili powder, turmeric, jeera
Salt to taste
Water enough to make a dropping consistency
1 teaspoon baking powder
Mixed all together to a soft mixture, not too stiff add baking powder.
Grate one potato and add the baking powder into the batter lastly.
Deep fry in oil
