Meet Diana from Crone Confidence
You need to sit back and relax and read this Interview with Diana Frajman from “Crone Confidence”
All about your BLOG: Tell us about your lovely BLOG.
What is the name of your blog and how did you decide on your blog name?
My blog’s name is Crone Confidence, croneconfidence.com The byline is “Wise, older woman is the most powerful brand females come in.” I named my blog to reflect the third stage of the triple Goddess archetype, the maiden, mother, crone. As I am in my mid-fifties, I am considered a crone. The crone is the wise woman of the clan. She is a teacher, healer, and arbitrator. I felt that this described the tone of what I wanted to write about.
What prompted you to start on this blogging journey?
I started my blog journey 5 years ago. I am an observer of the human experience. I have worked with the public for almost 40 years and see, time and time again, common themes in all people’s lives. I wanted to have a platform that would be positive in tone and that would give everyday practical advise and offer up my perspective on life.
To date, what blogging achievement/s are you most proud of?
I don’t write with achievements in mind but I was most pleased with a series I did last year called the 3 x 3 Project. The premise is, to achieve a goal, do 3 actions each week for 3 months and you will make great strides towards the goal. I blogged weekly about this journey and was truly surprised by the results which in my case was to increase my readership. I got the idea from one of my favorite bloggers, Slade Roberson of Shift Your Spirits. Slade was so pleased that I tried his idea that he interviewed me twice on his podcast about the subject.
How would you describe your own blogging style?
My blogging style is very conversational. I write pretty much how I talk
What excites you most about blogging?
What I like most about blogging is that it gives me a voice. I would be lying if I told you that I don’t love the comments and feedback. That is confirmation to me that I have reached someone and perhaps given them a new perspective to think about. But I love that I can express my thoughts and opinions and share some of my experiences in writing form even if it’s just for the online crickets.
What platform do you use and why?
My platform is WordPress. I started with them and it works for me. I’m a, “if it isn’t broken don’t fix it” kind of girl.
What genre/topic/theme do you blog about? Do you ever deviate from that theme?
I blog about everyday practical advice. I like to use my experiences and the experiences I have with other people to illustrate my point of view. I work part-time in a little vintage shop and meet the most amazing people so they tend to show up on my blog as well.
How often do you blog per week or month?
I try to blog weekly and usually post on Saturday. I use to blog bi-weekly but found that goal harder and harder to achieve. I would rather have quality rather than quantity.
Do you have any wisdom or tip/s regarding blogging to share with us?
My advice for bloggers is to blog for yourself first. If you stay true to why you started your blog you will have a firm foundation to launch from as you blast off into the blogosphere.
Do you participate in linkup parties? How do you feel about it?
I have not participated in any link-up parties because truthfully, I get confused about what it is I am supposed to do. I’m a simple blogger 😉 I do enjoy FB sharing groups and love the wonderful communities that formed in them.
Interview with Diana Frajman from “Crone Confidence”
All about YOU: Tell us something about you, the real YOU.
What do you like to do other than blogging?
When I am not blogging or on social media, I love to read (I read up to 3 books a week) and I love to garden. But as of 2 weeks ago, I have a new love. My very first grandbaby was born and I am loving being a granny.
Where do you reside?
I live on beautiful Vancouver Island in the city of Nanaimo. I have lived in the same house for 30 years where my hubby and I raised our two amazing kids and where I live I can see and smell the Pacific Ocean. I learned a long time ago that I would have a hard time living anywhere where the ocean was not part of my playground so I never felt the urge to move.
Are you an indoor or outdoor person?
I love the outdoors. Right now I am sitting on my deck drinking my morning coffee(s). But I do live in a rain forest area so it can rain a lot here and I am a fair-weather outdoors person.
Do you still work, and if so, what is your trade/profession?
I work part-time in a little vintage shop in our downtown shopping district. I work because I am too social not to. I love interacting with the folks who venture into the store and have a large clientele who visit regularly. I have worked in retail my whole career and have sold everything from snow cones to high-end furniture.
Or are you retired? If so, what do you do besides blogging?
In my remaining time, I do intuitive readings and am a certified life coach where I mentor folks who are seeking clarity in their lives.
Do you wish to be 20-something or the age you are now and why?
Sometimes I wish I was 20 something again but with the wisdom, I have now so I could have made different decisions. But then again, I wouldn’t be who I am now. One of life’s ironies. 🙂
What makes your day a good and happy one?
Most of my days are happy. I don’t really think about it because it is my natural way of being. But a really good day for me is if I had thoughtful interaction with another soul that makes a deep connection.
Describe yourself in 3 words.
Friendly, optimistic, intuitive.
Share with us 3 interesting facts about yourself.
I am a master quilter, I love road trips and I never met a chocolate that I didn’t like.
Do you have any other tidbits to share with us about yourself?
One last thing about me. Strangers will confess the most amazing things to me.

I know you want to do the 20 + 1 Interview Questions I look forward to hearing from you!
Interesting getting to know you, Diana. It is a gift to find ourselves in this Crone stage, isn’t it. I especially enjoyed: “I would rather have quality rather than quantity.” Couldn’t agree more. Life is too short to read posts that are pumped out only because we’ve been told “3x a week” or whatever formula. Thankful for that “unsubscribe” button then. 🙂
Enjoyed the interview. Great questions – it is inspiring reading about someone doing what they enjoy and creating the life they want.
Hi Brenda – so glad to see you here as well. Please let me know if you would like to do an interview, as I would love to have you on board this Interview trip with our fellow bloggers. A great way to learn more from you.
Diana is my beautiful niece with many miles between us – she is on Vancouver Island – I in Ontario – such a shame that I am not closer to her – we have a lot in common – (especially the chocolate thing!) lol So proud of her!
Thank you for vote of confidence Aunt Barb. ❤️

Another interesting interview there are s many fascinating bloggers …I love a beautiful quilt but alas have never got round to having a go myself 🙂
Carol, I think you will be good at quilting, you should give it a try.
Another really interesting interview. I wish I could quilt!
I agree, and wish I had more time to do these type of things, but with full-time work and all the other things going I do not have time for my other hobbies.
Hi Clive – Thank you so much for popping over again. I just love these interviews!
Another very interesting interview!
