With coughs and colds making its rounds in all our homes at this time of the year….just sharing a delicious concoction that sorted my family out quickly this past week….hope it helps you too
Ginger Milk
Recipe makes 2 mugs
2 mugs milk
1 tsp ginger powder
1 tsp tumeric powder
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
Small pinch of salt
1 chai tea bag
Honey to taste
Bring milk, ginger, tumeric, salt and black pepper to the boil on medium heat.
Once boiling, remove from heat and steep the chai teabag in the hot milk mix for a few minutes.
Remove teabag, add honey to taste and drink as hot as possible.
