Kamalini’s Basmati rice

Wash 1 c rice
Strain water and cook in 2 c water on medium for ten minutes
Add 1 cinnamon stick and 1/2 t jeera seeds while cooking
Cook longer if needed
Basmati rice cooks faster if pre soaked for twenty minutes.
Add 1/2 t salt while cooking
