1 c oil dhal lentils
Soak them in water to soften..
1 sliced onion
1 sliced tomato
1 t jeera seeds
1 t mustard seeds
Pinch of hing
1 sprig curry leaves
1 t green masala
1 t ginger
1 t garlic
1 t turmeric
1 t fine salt
Method
In pressure cooker, braise onion and leaves and seeds and hing till brownish
Add turmeric and tomato, stir
Add soaked lentils which are drained of water
Add water to cover lentils, about 2 c water
Cook to two whistles
Garnish with green dhania..
Serve ladled over rice
