
2 cups flour
2 tsp
baking powder
1 tbsp butter
1 cup maas (buttermilk)
Rub butter in dry ingredients, resembling bread crumbs, add a little at a time, maas, buttermilk to form soft dough, leave for 2 hours.
Shape in long ropes and plait.
Fry in deep oil.
Soak in syrup ( 1 cup water/1 cup sugar).
Roll in coconut.
Add cinnamon optional.
