Cube 4 potatoes, rinse and strain and keep aside.
Cut dry fish, small or big pieces, soak in boil water and leave aside for 1/2 hour, then rinse well to remove excess salt.
1 finely chopped onion
3 grated tomatoes
Curry leaves
Oil
3 tsp chilli powder
2 tsp medium masala
1 tsp ginger and garlic paste
1 tsp cumin and coriander powder
Salt to taste
Fry dry fish /snoek in hot oil, add onions and fry
Add ginger and garlic and fry
Add tomatoes and cook
Add chilli powder and masala and cumin and coriander and fry, then add potatoes and curry leaves and cook till it starts to sizzle
Add water and leave to cook on high, once cooked, potatoes will be soft, taste and then add salt if needed.
