Remove scales and inner and cut off the fins, then rinse well, cut in pieces
Marinate with 1 tsp chilli or fish spice powder,
1 tsp salt,
1/2 tsp tandoori masala,
1 tsp garlic powder,
1/2 tsp black pepper,
1 egg beaten.
I marinated overnight, or leave one hour in the fridge
Fry in a little deep hot oil, once brown turn once
Remove from oil once cooked and place on paper towel to drain excess oil
Add to fish curry or fish chutney or just eat with a sprinkle of lemon.
