An Indian Treat, try this Murukku Treat, it is a savory, crunchy snack
- 3 ½ cups water.
- 2 tsp jeera seeds.
- 2 tsp sesame seeds.
- 3½ cup maize meal.
- ½ cup chana flour.
- 1 tsp salt or less if you are not a salt fan.
- 1 tsp baking powder.
Bring water, jeera seeds, and sesame seeds to boil.
Sift the maize meal, chana flour, baking powder, and salt.
Add the boiling water mixture to the flour mixture.
Mix well and then knead well to bring the mixture together.
Put in murukku maker and fry in hot oil.
Drain on a paper towel.
