Nazley's Masala Fried Fish served on a bed of Cabbage, potato & butternut stirfry

Masala Fried Fish.
Serves 5 people.
5 Pieces of fish (I used angel fish, wash and pat dry).
Mix the following:
Salt to taste.
1/2 tsp durban masala.
1 tsp cumin masala.
1/2 tsp leaf masala.
1/2 tsp jeera masala.
1 tsp Indian fish masala.
One can adjust the masala.
Mix well and marinate the fish in this masala.
Allow to rest for 30 mins.
Fry in butter in a non-stick pan.
Cabbage, potatoe & Butternut stirfry.
1/2 cabbage washed and sliced finely.
1 onion diced.
3 large potatoes peeled,cubed, washed.
1 small butternut peeled, cubed, washed.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Braise the onion in olive oil. Add the cabbage, potatoe and butternut.
Allow to cook for 10 mins. Stir now and then. Add salt and pepper.
Cook till soft. Do not add water.
Plate up and enjoy. The combination of spices and the sweetness of the butternut is great.
