As a treat for my family who was so good this past week as they did not cheat I found this recipe for fudge from the Ditch the Carbs page .
FUDGE did you say? It was fudging fantastic! It was nutty, smooth, sweet, decadent and a little piece of heaven. You all deserve a treat this weekend so spoil yourselves.
NUT & CHOCOLATE KETO FUDGE
Mix together 120g melted butter with 120g softened cream cheese until there are no lumps (preferably Philadelphia or full fat cream cheese – I could only source medium fat Simonsberg and it worked well)
Add 3 tbspns cocoa, 2 tbspns xylitol and 1 tsp vanilla essence.
Add macadamia nuts or any nut and mix gently.
Place in a dish lined with cling film.
Sprinkle with crushed flaked almonds.
Put in the fridge to set for at least 3 hours.
Slice and serve.
Keep the balance in an airtight container in the fridge.
Yummilicious! !! Enjoy – now now – not all at one go!
