250 g butter or margarine
200 g (250ml) sugar
500 g dates, chopped (more…)
500g demamara sugar,
6 tsp ground cardamom,
1/2tsp ginger powder,
2tsp baking powder,
Cream the butter and sugar well, add the eggs and oil and beat well, add the flour, baking powder, ground cardamom, ginger powder and coconut, form into a dough.
Roll out and cut into shapes, decorate with silver balls or a peanut and bake at 180C until golden brown.
