Paneer butter masala is one of the most popular paneer recipe in an Indian cuisine. In this dish soft paneer/cottage cheese cubes are simmered in creamy, buttery, spicy and zesty looking onion-tomato gravy.
1 cup all purpose flour (maida or plain flour)
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon baking powder
Cashew – 1 cup
Sugar – 1/2 cup
Ghee – just for greasing
My attempt at this recipe, I tweaked it slightly. I halved the original quantity and added 1 Tablespoon of semolina, when creaming the sugar and ghee.
