Pamela’s Spaghetti & Meatballs in Bolognaise Sauce

TRH SPAGHETTI & MEATBALLS IN BOLOGNAISE SAUCE

I have tried many different ways of getting the perfect Sauce for My Spaghetti & Meatballs. I must say that this one is perfect ….for me that is. Try for yourself.
Pre – PREP
500g Pkt Spaghetti (Boil with a little salt and Oil )
Meatballs ( Fry & set aside)

BOLOGNAISE Sauce
4 Med Tomatoes (Remove skin/grate)
5 Tblspn Oil
1 tsp crushed garlic
1 sml Onion finely Chopped
2 Tblspns Finely chopped Green Pepper
2 Tblspn Hot Nandos Sauce
4 Tblspn Tomato Sauce ( Wellingtons)
2 Tblspn Steers Peri peri Sauce
1/4 tspn each of Thyme, Blk Pepper
Salt to taste

Method for Sauce
Heat up Oil in heavy based pot.fry onion together with crushed garlic.
Add tomatoes and cook on high heat till water content reduces. Reduce stove heat to 2.
Add all the sauces and spices mix well. add green pepper. Cook further for 2 mins. Lastly add meatballs.
Switch of heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Garnish as desired….A little Cheese topping works well too.
End result should be a fairly smooth sauce.
Serve on a bed of Spaghetti – Enjoy!
