INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 cups gram flour/ chickpea flour
2 tablespoons fine semolina flour
1/2 cup unsalted melted butter/ (ghee)
3/4 cups sugar
4 tablespoons sliced almonds
1/4 teaspoons coarsely grounded cardamom seeds
METHOD
Heat ghee in a heavy based pan and add semolina and gram flour, roast on low heat till the mixture gives off a pleasant aroma (for approximately ten minutes.)
Transfer roasted gram flour to a bowl and add crushed almonds and cardamom
Allow the mixture to cool slightly before adding powdered sugar. and mix.
Roll into even sized laddoos.
Decorate with chopped pistachios and almonds.
