1 cup chickpea flour
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1/2 tsp cumin

1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
2 cloves garlic, crushed
3/4 cup water
2 cups of lettuce finely chopped
1 large onion sliced thinly
1 medium sized carrot grated
5-6 stems if fresh coriander finely chopped
1 chilli finely chopped
Enough water to make a thick batter
Directions
Put all the ingredients in a bowl, add water to form a thick batter.Leave to rest for 20 minutes.
Fry in hot oil for 4-5 minutes turning occasionally
