5 litres water
6 marrow bones
3 packets soup greens
1 cup barely
1 cup split peas
1 cup dried chick peas
1 cup red lentels
1 tin red kidney beans
1 tin berlotti beans
1 tin butter beans
1/4 diced pumpkin
10 potatoes 1/4ed
8 tomatoes cut bite size
12 chicken stock cubes ( each one quanitity for one cup water)
Salt and pepper to taste.
Place everything into a large stock pot and bring to a boil.
Once boiling cover and reduce heat to medium and cook for about 3 hours.
This soup is great for Diabetics and is thick and hearty.
A great comfort food.
Serve with the Tiger Vienna crusty loaf so delicious and warming.
