600ml pure thickened cream
1/2 tin condensed milk
1 cup chopped nuts
Place your mixing bowl and paddle attachment in the freezer for at least an hour before starting this recipe.
Once your bowl and paddle attachment is really cold place the thickened cream inside beat till fairly stiff peaks form.
Then by hand fold in the condensed milk with a spatula making sure mixture is well combined.
Now fold in mixed nuts.
When everything is well combined line a loaf tin or any pan you wish, pour in mixture and smooth out evenly.
Cover with plastic wrap and place in the freezer to set for about 6 hours.
When set slice or scoop and enjoy.

My mom used to have an ice cream maker that was electric, but when she was a kid they churned the ice cream by hand when they had ice.
This looks good, and easy.
Yes, in days gone by, the new electric gadgets were unheard of and if you wanted icecream the only way was to do it by hand. Golden era for sure.
Well I rememeber my mom making it at least twice a week in the summer. I remember her always buying kosher salt for the ice.
Good old days <3
That seems like a lifetime ago.
Yes for sure, many moons ago
Time flies.
