Sadsac’s Pap and sauce

TRH Sadsac's Pap and sauce

1 cup mielie pap
Half litre water
2 teaspoons salt
1 medium onions chopped
1 tomato diced
1 tablespoon bistow gravy powder
1 tablespoon oil

In a heavy based saucepan add water and salt bring to a rapid boil.
Mix in a small bowl 1 teaspoons of pap and a little water to make a paste.
Add this to the boiling water and stir.
Now add the cup of mielie pap to the water and mix well till all combined.
Turn the plate down and cook about 20 minutes covered.
In a frying pan add oil and friends onions till soft add tomato cook about 5 minutes add the bistow to the pan.
Cook till sauce thickens and season with salt and pepper.
When Pap is ready serve with gravy.
