An all-time favorite!! You will enjoy this Small Malva Pudding

Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup of cake flour
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp. apricot jam
- 1 tbsp. vinegar
- 1 tbsp. bicarb
- 1 tbsp. butter/marg
- 1cup milk
Method
- Mix all the ingredients together and pour into a medium pyrex dish and bake @ 180deg for 30mins
- Pour the sauce over and allow it to soak in, it should be nice and moist, that’s how a malva pudding should be
- Serve with custard, cream, or ice cream
P.S: there is no baking powder in this recipe
MALVA SAUCE IS MADE WITH MILK.
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 2 tablespoons of butter/margarine
Method
- Boil all together until the sugar has dissolved for about 10mins
- Pour over malva pudding as soon as you take it out of the oven
- Enjoy with cream or custard or ice cream
