Description

You have to try these Valentine's Day Sugar Cookies as they are classic cookies in every sense of the word and you can surprise your Valentine with some of those soon!


Ingredients

Instructions

Beat butter and sugar.

Add eggs and vanilla and beat well.

Mix in sifted flour to form a soft smooth dough.

Colour a small portion with red gel colour.

Leave remaining dough uncoloured.

Flatten the dough between plastic wrap and refrigerate for 40 mins.

Roll out uncoloured dough and cut heart shapes and place on a lined baking tray using a small heart cutter, cut out heart centre and replace with the same size red heart.

Bake at 200°C for 35 mins until edges just turn slightly brown.
