Cracking the Crab Curry Secret!
2large onions sliced
6to 8 large tomatoes grated
1 teaspoon crushed ginger and garlic
1 tablespoon Kashmiri chili powder
2 tablespoons mix masala
Salt to taste
12 green chilies
2 teaspoons liquid tamarind
Discard of the innards
Rinse and remove legs
Remaining, body break up in halves or quarters depending on the size of the crab
Fry onions in 2 tablespoons oil until translucent
Add green chili tomatoes and all the spices and tamarind
Cook on high stirring continuously for approximately 5 minutes
Add crab and salt stir cover and simmer for about 40 minutes
After 40 minutes add half a cup of water and simmer for another ten minutes.
Remove from stove and garnish with coriander.
