1kg fish
1/4 cup tamarind extract
Salt to taste
4 green chillies
2 teaspoons chilli powder
1 onion sliced
4 tomatoes chopped or liquidised
2 tablespoons curry powder (masala)
2 cloves of garlic
1 teaspoon tumeric powder
Heat two tablespoons of oil add onion with a tablespoon of finely chopped curry leaves and half a teaspoon each mustsrd seeds cumin seeds.
When seeds start to splutter add tomatoes and spices salt a 1/4 teaspoon of sugar and stir add tamarind water cover and cook for approximately 15 minutes add fish spoon gravy over fish cover and cook on medium heat for approximately 20 minutes garnish with coriander
