Sureka's Lamb curry with gadra (Borlotti) beans and potatoes

Ingredients
1.5kgs lamb
2 teaspoons ginger and garlic
6 potatoes peeled and halved
2 cups of gadra beans (Borlotti)
Salt to taste
1 onion sliced
2 tomatoes chopped
2 teaspoons chilli powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
2 tablespoons curry powder
2 each cinnamon sticks and bay leaves
3 green chillies (optional)
Method:
Heat two tablespoons of oil
Add onion, cinnamon sticks and bay leaves
Add meat with all other ingredients except potatoes.
Cover and cook on low to medium heat for half an hour.
Add potatoes and 1/4 cup hot water cover and cook until potatoes are done.
