1 kg turkey pieces skin removed
2 tablespoons butter ghee or oil
2 green chillies
1 aniseed
2 cinnamon sticks
Salt to taste
2 teaspoons chilli powder
1/2 teaspoon dhania powder
1 teaspoon tumeric powder
1 tablespoon masala
1 onion sliced
1 tomato diced
1 teaspoon ginger and garlic
1 cup fresh or frozen peas (I’ve used frozen )
Heat ghee or oil if using add cinnamon sticks aniseed fry for two minutes then add onion . When onion has browned add turkey with spices and salt and ginger and garlic and chillies except tomatoes.
Cover and cook on medium heat for approximately 20 minutes.
Now add tomatoes and peas two tablespoons of water and lower heat cover and cook for a further ten minutes.
Garnish with dhania
