Yes, they are majestic animals, and fortunately we do only see them at a distance.

Hi Keith. When we saw it the first time, we also though, oh my! But as we were high up on the mountain side, it was not an uncommon sight to see in bear season. This particular instance, it was a momma bear and 2 cubs. As long as you do not disturb them and stay away from them, then all good.

Veronica, we did not see this mamma and cubs, but our neighbours did spot them. As long as you leave them alone, then all good, especially a mamma with cubs. Do not try to go to them or harm them then all good.

Hi Jim, Fortunately they are not that bad, as long as you do scare them or try to hurt them they will just stroll along. Also, the two in the pictures we saw we rather far away from us, so all good.
