Mushroom and Veggie Rice

TRH Colleen's Veggie Rice


  • Half punnet sliced mushrooms
  • Nob of butter/margerine
  • Spice for rice
  • 50g country crop veggies
  • ± 2 cups Cooked rice


  1. Add butter/ margarine to the pan
  2. Add mushrooms and allow to braise
  3. Add veggies and allow to cook for 5 mins
  4. Add cooked rice and add spice for rice, mix together
  5. Add more salt or spice for rice to your liking
  6. Add a drizzle of olive oil and turn the heat off and allow to sizzle on the hot stove plate for 1min
  7. Remove and serve with meat.
