Description

Warning: These Chocolate-Dipped Apricots may disappear faster than you can make them.  With just a few ingredients and zero baking, this is the snack your lazy cravings dream of.

Ingredients

  • Soft dried apricots
  • Good-quality chocolate (dark or milk)
  • Snappers (chocolate, caramel, and pretzel treats) or a mix of chopped pretzels, caramels, and chocolate

Instructions

  1. Melt your chocolate slowly, don’t let it get too runny.
  2. You want it thick enough to coat the apricots without sliding off.
  3. Here’s the trick: use cold apricots.
  4. Pull them straight from the fridge before dipping.
  5. The chill helps the chocolate stick better.
  6. Dip each apricot into the melted chocolate, then right away press it into the pretzel-caramel-chocolate mix.
  7. Set them on a tray and pop them in the fridge until the chocolate firms up.
  8. Then? Snack time.

Can’t find Snappers?

No problem. Just break up some salty pretzels, slice your favorite chewy caramels into small bits, and toss in chopped chocolate.
