Description

Craving something warm, hearty, and full of flavor? Why not try this Delicious Fragrant Beef Curry? It’s slow-cooked to perfection, filled with tender beef and a symphony of spices that will dance on your taste buds.


Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2kg Beef (blade/shin/chuck)
  • 1 tsp. Ground Ginger & Garlic
  • 1 tsp. Garam Masala
  • 1 tsp. Dhania/Coriander Powder
  • 1 tsp. Jeera/Cumin Powder
  • 1 Large Onion (chopped)
  • 2 Tomatoes (chopped)
  • Masala (heat level to your liking)
  • 1 Sprig Curry Leaves
  • 2 Potatoes (peeled & cut into quarters)
  • Oil (flavorless)
  • Salt to taste
  • Dhania/Coriander (garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a large pot.
  2. Cook the onion till soft, add the ginger, garlic, and tomatoes, and cook for about 2-3 minutes then add in the spices and masala and allow it to cook for a few more minutes.
  3. Place the beef pieces in, add salt and curry leaves, and allow it to cook on medium heat.
  4. Add 1 cup of water at a time, allowing the meat to cook until tender to create enough gravy.
  5. Once the meat is tender, add the potatoes with about Β½ cup of liquid.
  6. Allow it to cook together until it thickens, and the potatoes are tender.
  7. Turn the heat off, garnish with dhania/coriander.
  8. Enjoy!!
