Description

Waffles have been making mornings special for centuries. But guess what? These aren’t your typical waffles, they’re chaffles! Born from the creative kitchens of keto lovers, chaffles bring together everything you love about crispy, golden waffles without the carbs. And when you add cauliflower and cheese to the mix, you get a combo that’s both healthy and insanely tasty.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 90 g Cauliflower florets (about 3/4 cup, grated)
  • 80 g Eggs (2 medium)
  • A pinch of salt
  • A pinch of ground black pepper
  • A pinch of garlic powder
  • A pinch of onion powder
  • 29 g Cream Cheese (about 2 tablespoons, room temperature)
  • 33 g Cheddar Cheese (about 1/3 cup, grated)
  • 5 g Olive Oil (1 teaspoon, for brushing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your chaffle iron.
  2. Grab a box grater and shred your cauliflower florets into fine bits.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs until combined.
  4. Add the grated cauliflower, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, and seasonings (adjust to your liking).
  5. Stir it all up until smooth.
  6. Brush your chaffle iron with olive oil, then pour in the mixture.
  7. Spread it out evenly, but don’t overfill.
  8. Close the lid and let it cook for 3–4 minutes, or until the chaffles turn golden and slightly crisp.
  9. Serve hot, and don’t be shy about experimenting with your favorite spices or toppings.
